Coming Together (in Production)

production this week
was so much fun
i now have a 20 person staff
hustling and bustling
the edge comes together.

this week, man on the street segments
"what's in your pocket"
new yorkers are fun to interact with.
i learned how to cook hiabatchi
the segment was luke warm
everyone thought it was awesome
the perfectionist in me begged to differ.

the segment that soared
the segment that will rock
was on friday.
the writers pitched:
"jake goes to a nude modeling school
to interview a nude model as she's posing.
the catch: jake must be nude too"

and so i went
to take off my close
at Stacey's Studio in NYC
the nude model that would pose with me
sarah - beautiful, middle aged, very very naked
i had severe anxiety
one article of clothing off at a time.
eventually till i was nude.
and the painters began
a few students painted us
charcholed us
i laughed, out of nervousness
the time ticked away
as television history was made.

saturday at the office
i catch up on things
2nite out with friends
and tomorrow a coffee with a girl
i met in an elevator.

moving moving moving
shaking
REDBULL is my fuel
tequilla is out
life is good.
